Okuma Tesoro Star Drag Reel

The Okuma Tesoro Star Drag Reel is loaded with features to catch big fish.  The machined aluminum frame, sideplate, and spool are rigid yet light weight.  At 19oz/538g, it is light enough to fish all day.  22lbs of multi-disc Carbonite drag is more than enough for what this reel was designed for.  

The 6.2:1 ratio brings in 46 inches of line per turn so working a lure or live bait isn’t a problem.  We like the corrosion resistant finish, large handle, and low center of gravity on the rod.  Spinning the spool in the shop, this reel looks to cast very well as the spool turns with ease and keeps spinning with little effort.
