Freshwater Berkley Powerbait Atomic Teasers

Berkley Powerbait Atomic Teasers are ideal for trout, panfish or crappie. Cut tentacles and trout worm provide subtle fish attracting action. Pre-rigged and ready to fish. These mini jigs catch anything including trout, crappie, bluegill, shell crackers, sunfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, and stripers.  

It mimics a baitfish or larva and appears to be an easy meal for most fish.  The small worm like tail ads more attractant but you can pull it off if you’d like.  The consistent colors and interesting patterns will entice most fish to strike aggressively.  The hooks small diameter and sharp point make hooking up consistent.

The way we fish them is either on a bobber with a 2-3′ leader or tie it directly to the line.  2-4lb line is key and we like to use fluorocarbon like Seaguar Invisx or Berkley Vanish.  Simply cast it out, let it sink for a few seconds, and retrieve it very very slowly. You can set the hook or wind the reel faster when you get bit.  A reel in the 500, 750, or 1000 size would be best and a light action trout rod for cast-ability and action when fighting the fish.
